About Jodi

How she helps: Jodi is a healthy eating coach who helps busy people clear the confusion about healthy eating and discover healthy, simple, and sustainable meal & snack solutions. She is most passionate about helping people overcome restrictive/disordered eating, create a positive relationship with food and their body, and busting common nutrition myths.

What made her become dietitian/personal trainer/yoga teacher: During her youth, Jodi learned (the hard way) that going on diets and taking a restrictive approach to eating is a recipe for health disaster.  Becoming educated in proper nutrition and fitness set her on the right path to enjoy a healthy and happy lifestyle (including all foods, in moderation) and empowered her to help others create an equally positive relationship with food and their body.

Funny Fact: Despite proudly being a healthy eater, Jodi is known for being a selective eater. In fact, she has several strong food aversions that are so bad she can't be in the same room when people are eating certain foods! Be sure to ask her what they are.

What she can't live without: Hot yoga, hot baths, canine companions, and writing - whether it be blogs for Craving Health or her hobby blog (www.heartdogtribute.com - in memory of her beloved Heart Dog Maverick), she finds writing very therapeutic just like exercise and hot baths.

About Dr. Lisa

How she helps:  Dr. Lisa takes the time to get to know you and empowers you to take control of your health by outlining options that are realistic for you and your lifestyle. She is most passionate about managing women's health issues and digestive concerns.

What made her become a Naturopathic Doctor: Dr. Lisa was inspired to be a N.D. through her desire to help others; combined with her own health challenges of fatigue & digestive concerns that were overcome with the naturopathic medical approach to health. She found there were gaps in the conventional system where patients were not getting the help they needed to prevent disease and feel their best.

  • Certified in Facial Rejuvenation Acupuncture

Funny fact:  Dr. Lisa loves gardening, plants, and working with medicinal herbs and teas in her practice. However, she not only can’t identify them in their natural environment, but also often manages to love them to . . . well, death, or close to it, whenever she tries to grow them herself!

What she can’t live without: This N.D. can’t live without her running shoes so that she can get outside everyday to breath and move; her daughter who keeps her energized, focused, and laughing; and hot drinks like herbal teas, and yes coffee!

About Riley 

How she helps:  Riley will work with you to make simple and sustainable life changes that over time will have a big impact on your health. She can help by providing practical tips and by working with you to create a healthy eating plan for your whole household. She is also multilingual! Elle est aussi capable d'aider ceux et celles qui préfèrent recevoir un service en français.   

What made her become a Registered Dietitian:  From an early age, Riley's love of food developed through cooking in the kitchen with her grandmother, who coincidentally is also a registered dietitian. Since that time, she has taken multiple culinary courses, including a summer course in Italy, and can now be found on the weekends experimenting, modifying, and creating new recipes in the kitchen. Her combined love of food and helping others discover a happy and healthy relationship with food made her realize being a dietitian was the right path for her.

Funny fact: When Riley was younger, her father worked as a teacher in a prison. One day on a crowded city bus, she asked her mother in a loud voice "When are we picking dad up from jail?"
